The number of victims of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria as of the evening of February 9 has already exceeded 20 thousand people.

Such updated data was provided by the Turkish side.

According to the latest data from the Turkish Emergency Management Agency, the number of victims of the earthquakes in both countries is currently 20,451.

Another 70,347 injuries were confirmed there, and 30,360 victims of the natural disaster were evacuated.

The search is currently underway.

In total, 120,000 rescuers and more than 12,000 pieces of equipment, as well as 160 aircraft and 20 ships, are participating in the operation.

We would like to add that on February 6, a large-scale earthquake occurred on the territory of Turkey and Syria.
