"Back in 2020, when we saw where things were going both in terms of the Recovery Plan and in terms of operational programs, we clearly and categorically said that an expert cabinet should be formed to write all these documents in time to I can let the funds go to Bulgaria".

This is what Petar Chobanov, a former deputy from the DPS and former finance minister in the Oresharski cabinet, said in an interview with the program "This morning".

"The expert cabinet assumes dialogue, unfortunately this dialogue is absent in these months of political crisis, and the political crisis leads to other crises," Chobanov added.

Chobanov repeated the DPS thesis that the idea is for a regular government supported by a "homogeneous Euro-Atlantic majority".

He is categorical that his party has not set and will not set dividing lines before the elections.

When asked if they would support a coalition of "Continuing the Change" and "Democratic Bulgaria" if they won the elections, he answered: "First, such support must be requested, secondly, it must be clear what such a cabinet will do, and thirdly, it must not be forgotten , what happened with all those unconstitutional acts that were committed and for them to have some type of remorse to move forward."

Regarding relations with GERB, Chobanov emphasized that DPS has always been against the "GERB model" and they will try to ensure that this model is not repeated when forming a cabinet
