In addition, the head of state will meet with Ukrainian military personnel who are undergoing training in the country.

This is reported by Sky News with reference to the office of the British Prime Minister.

It should be noted that this is Zelensky's first visit to Britain since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.

During the trip, the president and Sunak will discuss support for Ukraine, including an "immediate increase" in British military aid to Ukraine.

It is noted that Sunak will propose to Zelensky to strengthen the training of the Ukrainian military in Britain, "in particular, fighter pilots, so that they can fly fighter jets of NATO standards."

The British prime minister also intends to propose the start of an immediate training program for marines.

"President Zelenskyi's visit to Great Britain is a testament to his country's courage, determination and struggle, as well as a testament to the unbreakable friendship between our two countries. I am proud that today we will expand training for Marines and fighter pilots to ensure that Ukraine has an army capable of protecting its interests in the future," Sunak said.

He added that this visit will also emphasize Britain's commitment not just to provide military equipment in the short term, but also a long-term commitment "to stand side by side with Ukraine for many years."
