Despite the rather severe frosts, the residents of Kyiv still have power outage schedules.

This was written by the general director of the electricity supplier company "Yasno" Serhiy Kovalenko.

"Recently (especially after Kyiv increased consumption), I often see the question of why not all houses in the same group are turned off during the dark gray slots in the graphs. Although before, they were all turned off together. Here the answer is simple. Sometimes restrictions from "Ukrenergo" may be such that it is not necessary to disconnect the entire group," Kovalenko said.

According to the general director, suppliers monitor the fair distribution of electricity.

"This means that if today 1-5 subgroups were disconnected, then tomorrow under the same restrictions - 5-10 subgroups. And vice versa," he noted.

As a reminder, now Kyiv residents can find out about power outages via SMS.

Meanwhile, "Ukrenergo" informed about changes in the schedule of power outages.
