Croatian football legend Miroslav Blajević has died.

According to Apasport.az website, the well-known coach died at the age of 88.

He fought with cancer for a long time.

Blajević went down in the history of the Croatian national team as the architect of the first great success.

His students won the bronze medal at the WC-1998.

It should be noted that during his professional career he also coached the national teams of Switzerland, Iran, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Blajevic, who worked in a number of clubs, ended his career in "Zadar" in 2015.
