In order to help the victims of the earthquake in Turkey, the citizens of Azerbaijan are supporting the brotherly country in the form of financial resources and donations.

Citizens providing financial assistance use electronic payment systems, and information about cases such as tax deductions from citizens' money transfers has been spread among the public.

According to the information provided to "APA-Economics" by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the electronic payments made by citizens for the purpose of helping the victims of the earthquake in Turkey are not related to the purchase of works and services provided in any electronic commerce. VAT is not charged by banks at the rate of 18 percent.

Citizens who encounter cases of tax deductions from their accounts during transfers can inform the hotline of the State Tax Service, as well as the relevant bank, through the 195-1.2 Jagri Center of the Ministry of Economy.
