Listen to the news

The office continues with its brutal insolence and hypocrisy!

I remind you that the official cabinet did NOT fulfill its constitutional obligation and did NOT submit to the National Assembly a draft of the state budget for 2023, with which we would vote an increase in the incomes of the poorest part of our population: 2 million pensioners + 1 million working poor and doomed impoverishment of half of Bulgaria's population!

Prematurely, grocery prices exploded - surpassing even those in Luxembourg and Monaco!

But at the expense of this, the official cabinet, very quietly, at a time when there is no controlling body (no functioning parliament), removed the ceiling on the salaries of the heads of state-owned companies.

This is what Venko Sabrutev from "We continue the change" wrote on his Facebook profile.

"Apparently, according to the official cabinet, the current chief salaries, reaching a colossal BGN 14,040 per month, of the state-owned enterprises mired in corruption and incompetence, are NOT enough?!? Are these the targeted measures aimed at the most vulnerable groups of people that the official promised us President Radev's office? The most affected were those with BGN 14,040 salaries, who now need a salary increase," he wrote in his publication.

The government has quietly removed the salary limit on the boards of 17 state-owned companies, "Sega" wrote.

In its article, the media recalls that until now, the remuneration of executive directors in joint-stock companies was limited to a maximum of 18 minimum wages, and to the members of the boards of these enterprises - to 6 minimum wages.

In the future, these limits will be removed, and the relevant ministries-principals will decide what the bosses' remuneration will be.

Sabrutev (PP): The National Assembly showed how corruption is done - through legislation hidden behind caring for people

Venko Sabrutev appeals to the head of state:

Dear Mr. President!

I know my message will reach you.

I appeal to you to take the necessary statesmanship position on this social injustice!

I hope you will do what is necessary to NOT allow the favoring of a handful of heads of state-owned enterprises, at the expense of the people!

I appeal to you to request the cancellation of the decision of your Cabinet, which removes the salary ceilings of the heads of state enterprises.

I undertake, when we return to the National Assembly, to demand every month information on the real remunerations received by the heads of state-owned enterprises and to provide them personally to you, the general public and the media.

So that every single citizen can understand what deepening of social inequality the policy of the Service Cabinet leads to - super-enrichment of a handful of bosses and impoverishment of ordinary people.

The absence of your position on this case will be taken as tacit consent and support for the deepening of social inequality in Bulgaria.

With respect,

Venko Sabrutev

Rumen Radev
