The house of the Spanish designer Paco Rabanne, located in French Brittany, became the object of a robbery at dawn on Sunday, February 5, writes Zashtoto.

As published this Tuesday by the local newspaper Le Télégramme, the media that announced his death on February 3, unknown persons broke a glass door and broke into the house located in the village of Portsal, in the commune of Pludalmesseau in the department of Finistère in western France.

Their loot was not significant, although police have yet to release further details about the theft.

The French gendarmerie continues the search for the perpetrators with the aim of arresting them and returning the stolen items.

"The thieves thought there were a lot of valuables inside.

Whether it's Paco Rabanne or someone else, it's very shocking to go and rob someone who has just died," Marguerite Lamoureux, mayor of this town of about 6,000, told AFP.

"The robbery took place at dawn on Sunday in Pludalmezzo.

The damage is minor and no arrests have been made," the gendarmerie told the same agency.
