[Reporter Zheng Jingyi/Taipei Report] Xu Chengzhi, an associate professor of the Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan University, got into a driving dispute with someone near the campus of National Taiwan University at around 6:00 last night. The suspect was brought back when he was young, and he was dealt with according to the law of intimidation. Xu Chengzhi also posted a message on Facebook to thank him.

Xu Chengzhi encountered a white car around the campus of National Taiwan University last night, blocking the right-turn lane. He honked the horn to signal the driver to move the car. After the silver-white car driver, the man surnamed Zhang reluctantly moved the car, he got out of the car excitedly and took out a baseball from the back seat. Gun Lai rushed to Xu's driver's seat, motioned to hit someone, and uttered abusive words. Xu Wei did not get out of the car and did not react much. The conflict did not expand, and Zhang Nan left angrily.

After receiving the report, the police from the Da’an Sub-bureau searched for relevant images to identify the vehicle involved and the identity of the person involved, Zhang Nan, and tracked down the case overnight for investigation, and recovered a bat involved in the case. Zhang Nan also admitted to committing the crime; "principle, will continue to strengthen the prevention and control of various types of illegal crimes, in order to maintain the stability of law and order in the jurisdiction.

Xu Chengzhi also posted on Facebook, expressing his gratitude to the police officers at the Roosevelt Road Police Station and the Taipei City Police for their assistance, and especially thanks to the National Taiwan University Police Force for providing key surveillance images so that the police can quickly grasp the identity of the suspect.
