On Wednesday, February 8, when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is visiting London, the British government introduced new sanctions against Russia.

They extend to companies that supply military equipment, as well as individuals and one organization that financially support the wealth and power of Kremlin elites.

This was reported in the press service of the British government.

In particular, 5 people connected to Putin's luxurious residences, including the so-called "Putin's palace" worth 100 billion rubles and the Kremlin dictator's lakeside dacha, were under personal sanctions.

The list includes Boris Tytov, Mykola Yegorov,


owner of the pro-Kremlin publication Regum Serhiy Rudnov, shareholder of the bank "Russia" and "National Media Group" Svitlana Kryvonohykh, and owner of the Russian company for maintenance and repair of aviation equipment "Aerostart" Viktor Myachin.

The package of sanctions also applies to 6 organizations that supply military equipment used during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

This list includes the manufacturer of Russian drones CST, the manufacturer of spare parts for helicopters RT-Komplekt, the company Oboronlogistic, which organizes the transportation and delivery of Russian military equipment, the companies Universalmash and Lipetsk, which manufacture or modify tracked chassis for anti-aircraft missile systems, and also Topaz, which is a manufacturer of software for military aviation.

We will remind, on February 8, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived in Great Britain.
