Rungwe District Head, Jaffar Haniu has inaugurated six classrooms in Kinyangwa Primary School located in Katunduru Village, Ilima District.

The project for the construction of the rooms has been implemented by the Bioland Company through the Cocoa for School project at a cost of Sh 64 million, while citizens contributed their energy for more than Sh 30 million.

The Bioland company engages in the purchase of the cocoa crop and returns its profits to the community for development projects.

Inaugurating the classes, Haniu has thanked the company for the great work they have done and by doing so will increase the success in the school, after the study and learning environment is improved.

He said that the Government of the Sixth Phase, led by President Samia Suluhu Hassan, has continued to improve the good environment for teaching, so various stakeholders as well as citizens have to support him at the same time to take care of the education infrastructure, so that it benefits this generation and the future.

Haniu has instructed all the parents in the village to come forward and donate lunch at the school, as it is a strong tool to increase achievement in tandem with eliminating stunting and malnutrition in children.

At the same time, the Executive Director of Rungwe District Council, Renatus Mchau has explained that the success of primary education students has continued to rise year to year by 93.7 percent and this has contributed to the good teaching of teachers, the quality of teaching infrastructure and school food.

Mchau has warned some teachers to misuse their time, instead of teaching students and thus causing students to lack knowledge and skills and eventually fail their final exams.

In another step, the leadership of the Cocoa for School Company has stated that it will continue to support the school by renovating the teachers' office and the remaining three classrooms.
