The MLAs allege that the governor is reading out a speech prepared by the state government, which has nothing to do with reality.

Kolkata:

West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose addressed the state assembly for the first time on Wednesday.

During the Governor's address, the BJP MLAs started raising slogans against the state government.

The BJP MLAs walked out of the Assembly during the Governor's address.

The budget of West Bengal is going to be presented next week.

That's why the Governor was addressing the House on Wednesday.

Within minutes of the commencement of the address, BJP MLAs started raising slogans against the state government in the House under the leadership of Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari.

BJP MLAs also protested against the governor.

The MLAs allege that the governor is reading out a speech prepared by the state government, which has nothing to do with reality.

Shuvendu Adhikari said, 'This is the most corrupt government in the state.

We walked out of the House as there was no mention of corruption cases and arrest of TMC leaders in the Governor's address.

TMC Chief Whip Nirmal Ghosh accused the BJP that the party was trying to disrupt the proceedings of the House.

Let us tell you that when the governor said in his address that the state government is alert to maintain law and order in the state, allegedly a BJP MLA tore the copy of the governor's speech.

Firhad Hakim, a senior cabinet minister in the Mamata government, told reporters, "It is very unfortunate. President of India, governor, judge - they are constitutional posts. We cannot raise slogans against them. It is unconstitutional."

He said, "Unfortunately, the Leader of the Opposition and the Opposition do not know what is constitutional. They are all goons."

At the same time, Shuvendu Adhikari said, 'We protested when the governor started saying that the law and order in the state is peaceful.

It is not possible to accept this statement of the Governor.

We opposed the way the governor was reading against the central government.

The Governor should have checked the facts before reading the speech.

He said, 'We hope that the governor will take appropriate steps, because he is misguided.

In the name of secularism, CM (Mamata Banerjee) is protecting Rohingyas, while Amit Shah is fighting against Rohingyas.
