In the port city of Iskenderun in Turkey, which has been hit by devastating earthquakes, a tidal wave has begun to rise due to rising sea levels.

Residents of surviving buildings and office workers had to be evacuated.

Local authorities urge residents not to enter damaged houses and not to approach the coastal zone.

People remain in parks and closed street markets after the disaster.

The day before, a large fire broke out in the port of this city, which suffered numerous structural damages.
