The Turkish states show strong solidarity with their brothers in Turkey in the measures taken against the increase in the damage and loss of life caused by the devastating earthquakes that occurred in the southern and southeastern regions of Turkey.

APA reports that this was announced in a statement issued by the Organization of Turkic States (TDT).

"Emergency, disaster management and other responsible bodies of TDT member and observer countries have started functioning in coordination with the leadership of Turkey's Emergency Management Agency (AFAD).

TDT countries have sent professional search and rescue teams, field hospitals, medical and technical equipment and humanitarian aid to help Turkey.

The heads of state and government of TDT member and observer member countries expressed their condolences and support to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

All the peoples of the Turkic world have also mobilized and are sending messages of support to their brothers and sisters affected by the earthquake on social networks," it was noted.

It was reported that TDT General Secretary Kubanichbek Omuraliyev sent a message of condolence to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and immediately issued a statement of solidarity: "In connection with the 7-day national mourning announced in Turkey, the flags at the TDT central office were lowered to half-mast.

Employees of the TDT Secretariat also sent financial aid to the earthquake region through AFAD.

The TDT Secretariat continues its efforts to provide assistance to the citizens affected by the natural disaster.
