New Delhi:

Two persons have been arrested for duping over 4,000 youths who were looking for jobs online by luring them to work as 'gigollos' and 'escorts'.

Delhi Police gave this information on Wednesday.

According to the police, the accused have been identified as Kuldeep Singh Charan (29) and Shyamlal Yogi (33), residents of Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Both the accused, residents of Jaipur in Rajasthan, were arrested from Jaipur.

A senior police officer said, "One of the accused used to pose as an NRI female customer and used to speak in a female voice to lure the youth."

According to the police officer, in a Tahrir, the complainant alleged that he was searching for a job online, when he came across a website called 'sp playboyservices.com' and contacted the number given on the website.

Police said that on the pretext of offering a job, the accused demanded Rs 2,499 as initial registration fee and later issued an identity card to the complainant on WhatsApp.

According to the police officer, after this the accused started demanding money in the name of 40 per cent advance commission, massage kit, pass code fee and hotel booking fee.

The complainant was allegedly cheated of a total of Rs 39,190.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer-North Delhi, Devesh Kumar Mahla said that during the investigation, the police arrested Kuldeep Singh Charan from Jaipur Sector-12.

After this Shyamlal Yogi was also arrested.

Police said that four mobile phones, a laptop, a desktop, a hard disk etc. have been recovered from the possession of both.
