Many people have died due to severe cold.

Due to the low temperature, there is also a problem in the rescue operation.

Kubra Halisi, a scholar of architectural history, gave this information from Istanbul.

Snowfall is also taking place in Turkey amid severe winter.

In many cities, the temperature has reached 9 to minus 2 degree Celsius.

Health experts say that in such a situation people are at risk of hypothermia.

Kubra Halisi, who suffered from the earthquake in Istanbul, told news agency PTI, "A large number of people have become homeless after the earthquake.

He could not be taken to the shelter home due to bad weather.

The Turkish citizen said, "Although we were far from the epicenter of the earthquake, we still felt several tremors." 

In the conversation, he said, 'I and my family members are safe, but my country has been broken into pieces.

Destruction is destruction everywhere.

10 provinces have been affected by the earthquake.

We are only seeing scenes of death and destruction in the local and international media.

The earthquake on Monday killed thousands of people in Turkey and neighboring Syria.

India on Tuesday sent relief material to Turkey through four C-17 Globemaster military transport aircraft.

India has also sent a mobile hospital and a special search and rescue team there.

India on Wednesday handed over six tonnes of relief material, including essential medicines and medical equipment, to earthquake-hit Syria.
