Weapons from allied countries are already arriving in Ukraine.

At the same time, it becomes obvious that it will not be possible to get the planes before the April operation.

Mykhailo Samus, deputy director of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament Center for International Affairs, said this in an interview with TSN.ua.

"First of all, weapons are already leaving. When we talk about tanks, in addition to the Leopard, Abrams and Challenger tanks, there is also a T-72 tank, which the Czech Republic is repairing for us. And these tanks are leaving. This component is constantly being strengthened." , - said Samus.

In his opinion, during March, Western tanks will already go to Ukraine, and by the end of March, the equipment will arrive in the quantities with which it is already possible to fight.

However, regarding planes, the expert is less optimistic.

"The issue of aircraft is very important. It is obvious that we will not succeed with the F-16. I am currently talking about April. If we talk about such aircraft as Rafale or Gripen, then one or two squadrons could change the situation at the front. The achieved dominance in air in some, even a small, area of hostilities, would already give its results. Obviously, with this we will not have time for the April operation, but if we talk about the deoccupation of Crimea, then dominance in the air is very important. For Crimea, we need aviation "to create conditions for the destruction of any military infrastructure in the occupied Crimea," the expert noted.

Let us add that the

Ukrainian military

went abroad to train on the Leopard 2.

We will also remind you that military expert Oleg Zhdanov talked about the advantages of Western tanks.
