Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political analyst of the "Information Resistance" group, analyzed what foreign weapons Russia has received.
He said this in an interview with NV.
According to the expert, at the moment it is possible to talk only about Iranian weapons, because there is no accurate data on supplies from other countries, such as North Korea, yet.
"Although it is possible to make assumptions that these could be, say, ammunition for artillery of the 122nd or 152nd caliber. But here the question still arises: is it really so?" - noted Kovalenko.
So, the Russian Federation received the following types of weapons and equipment from Iran:
reconnaissance and strike drone
Mohajer-6
, which is not used very often.
Mohajer-6 is used for reconnaissance and guidance of Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones;
the infamous
Shahed 131/136
, which the Russian Federation uses for attacks on civilian infrastructure
reconnaissance drones
Yasir and Ababil-2;
there is information that Russia may receive artillery shells from Tehran, but it is not 100% confirmed;
Qaem-5 ammunition
for Mohajer-6;
Iranian
NIJ II
helmets and
Rouin-3 body armor.
Russia received from its satellite Belarus:
almost a hundred T-72A tanks;
some number of BMP-1 and BMP-2;
transport equipment, such as Ural-4320;
a significant amount of artillery, such as 2S9 "Nona" self-propelled guns, 152-mm howitzer gun D-20, 122-mm howitzer D-30.
Earlier, GUR reported that Russia is waiting for a new batch of Iranian drones.
However, intelligence has not yet recorded the facts of Russia's receipt of Iranian ballistic missiles Fateh and Zolfaghar, against which the Ukrainian air defense system is powerless.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Moscow and Tehran are also developing plans for the
production of Iranian-made drones in Russia.
