On the eve of February 24, the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, will have to report on the progress of the so-called "military operation" in Ukraine during the Federal Assembly.

Mykhailo Samus, deputy director of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament Center for International Affairs, said this in an interview with TSN.ua.

"What can Russia do before February 24?... A classic of the genre. First of all, an informational and psychological operation. Whatever we call it, IPSO plays a very important role, especially with such generals as Gerasimov," Samus noted.

The expert emphasized that the Russian command has already started preparations for February 24.

"This big informational and psychological operation, which is designed to create fear and panic in us, is already working. Next, I think, missile strikes will be launched. On February 24, Putin will speak at the Federal Assembly. He needs to show victory and success. He needs in this address something. That's why I think that there will be both a wave of missile strikes and an informational and psychological operation," added Samus.
