The IBA Mathematics Competition organized by the IBA in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for students of the 9th, 10th and 11th grades has ended.

According to information provided by IBA to "APA-Economics", 7574 students applied for participation in the competition and were invited to the first selection stage.

260 of them successfully completed this stage and passed to the second stage.

In the next stage, 35 students got the opportunity to participate in 10-day intensive mathematics training organized in Baku after interviewing 62 people who were successful.

12 participants of the training were students studying in regional schools.

The trainings were held at the base of the ABB Tech Academy, with the methodological support of local and foreign experts specializing in the organization of Olympiads and intensive educational programs.

At the end of the training, a final competition was organized among the participants.

Depending on the result, the winners of the first 3 places were selected.

The winner of the 1st place was awarded 3000 manats, the winner of the 2nd place was awarded 2000 manats, and the winner of the 3rd place was awarded 1000 manats.

Certificates were presented to other participants.
