In the part of Syria controlled by government forces, the number of victims rose "to 711, and the wounded to 1,431 in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama, Tartus," the Syrian Ministry of Health said.

In rebel-held areas, at least 733 people died and more than 2,100 were injured, according to the White Helmets (civil defense volunteers), BTA added.
