According to the information given to APA by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the agenda of bilateral relations, which includes cooperation in various fields between Azerbaijan and Switzerland, issues of cooperation within the framework of international organizations, as well as the current regional and international situation were discussed.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, noting the development of cooperation in these fields, thanked Ambassador Muriel Peneveyre for her efforts in this direction and wished her success in her future activities.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also informed the other party in detail about the situation in the region during the post-conflict period, restoration works in the territories freed from occupation of Azerbaijan, as well as efforts to advance the agenda of peace and normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the actions of Armenia that harmed the peace agenda in the post-conflict period, including the provocations around the Lachin road that led to the rightful protest of the representatives of the civil society of Azerbaijan. said.

Ambassador Muriel Peneveyre said that there is potential for further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland at both bilateral and multilateral levels, and strengthening efforts in this regard will contribute to the development of relations.
He recalled with satisfaction the events of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations last year, the work of the bilateral commission, and high-level visits.
The importance of continuing the normalization agenda and negotiations on the peace agreement in order to establish peace and security in the region was noted.
