When you feel the first tremor, you should not leave the building you are in, do so only if you think you can go outside for about 10 seconds.

This is stated by the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (FGDPBZN) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the basic rules that can help citizens in the event of an earthquake, published on the department's website.

When an earthquake occurs, the safest place in the building should be taken - under the door frame, near an interior wall, column, under a stable table or bed.

The fire department points out that after the first vibrations, the rocking will intensify and you should keep your composure, do not go to the elevators and stairs.

According to the rules, if we are on the street, we must stay away from buildings and power lines.

In case we are driving, we should stop the vehicle in an open, safe place and wait.
