[Reporter Ge Youhao/Kaohsiung Report] The painted water tower of the well-known landmark on Wufu Road in Kaohsiung City was recently graffiti-sprayed with the word "OHBZ". Charges will be cleared and Chen Sue will be pursued.

The 12-story, 38-meter-high painted water tower at the intersection of Wufu 1st Road and Guanghua 1st Road in Lingya District, Kaohsiung City was found graffiti-sprayed with the word "OHBZ" in the early morning of the 2nd of this month.

The police consulted the surveillance cameras and arrested 25-year-old suspect Chen. He argued that the color of the water tower was too monotonous and he climbed up with bare hands to add color.

After investigation, Chen was suspected of running a tattoo studio. "OHBZ" was similar to his social networking ID, and the investigation was transferred according to law.

In this regard, the Kaohsiung City Labor Support Department expressed its gratitude to the police for quickly solving the case. The graffiti removal work started on the 4th and was completed today.

The Yanggong Office also filed a complaint against Chen Suan for damage to public facilities. Chen Suan will also be held accountable for all the restoration costs, and will be fined 3,000 yuan in accordance with Article 7 of the "Kaohsiung City Autonomous Regulations on Compensation for Damage to Trees, Flowers, Plants, and Public Facilities".
