We have no worries, it is not the first time we will organize elections after changes to the Electoral Code.

This was said by the spokesperson and deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission, Rositsa Mateva, in the program "More of the Day" on BNT.

The technical security for the vote is entrusted mainly to the executive power, and the issue of the paper – to the printing house of the BNB.

The bodies of the CEC must be left to do their work in peace.

There will be paper for the elections, there will be protection, everything is fine, said Mateva.

Before the changes, a protocol was printed from the machines, and now the machine ballots will be counted by the sectional election commissions and the result will be verified.

The CEC has not yet decided whether the initial and final protocol will be printed at the beginning or at the end of the election day.

The purpose of these protocols is to have one more guarantee, one more control, the deputy chairman of the CEC pointed out.

The 240 parliamentary mandates will be redistributed according to the final results of the population census, which the National Statistical Institute announced on January 3.

Rositsa Mateva specified BGN 87 million for the organization of the elections.

The CEC redistributed the number of mandates for the next elections

We will very much hope for the responsibility of the members of the sectional election commissions.

In practice, they are the ones who conduct the elections.

Their biggest responsibility is to correctly reflect the result, according to the votes cast by the voters, Mateva also said.
