The United24 crowdfunding fund reported on the celebrity's visit.
The Telegram channel of the platform published a picture of the French director, where he is depicted at the entrance to the central building of the Kyiv railway station.
It seems that Michel arrived in the capital at dawn.
"Michel Hazanavicius, the director of the film "The Artist", the winner of the "Oscar" award, arrived in Kyiv," the message reads.

The purpose of the Oscar-winning director's visit has not been disclosed.
However, it is quite possible that he will become the new ambassador of the United24 platform, tell the truth about the war in Ukraine and help Ukrainians defeat the Russian invaders.
Moreover, in January, Michel helped Ukraine.
He organized an auction, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the restoration of the Ukrainian city of Izyum.
In particular, the director sold things of the stars.
So, such lots were presented as a typewriter from the personal collection of Tom Hanks, a cosmetics case of Catherine Deneuve, rare posters with autographs of Natalie Portman and others.
Then it was possible to collect 250 thousand euros.
The celebrity transferred half of these funds to the United24 platform, and the other half to the Olena Zelenska Foundation, which is involved in the reconstruction of the hospital in Izyum.

It should be noted that Michel Hazanavicius is a famous French film director and actor.
The celebrity became world famous thanks to the tape "Artist".
In 2012, the film was awarded the prestigious "Oscar" award in the "Best Film" category, and Hazanavicius will receive a statuette for the best directorial work.
