The Bureau of Tourism and Tourism stated that the city government promotes mountain tourism, attracting mountain lovers to challenge the Seven Heroes of Guguan, creating more tourism output value for Greater Taichung, attracting more than 30,000 climbing certifications, and completing all rounds of climbing in 2022. The number of applicants has increased by 166.67% compared with 2021, and the results are impressive.

Chen Meixiu, director of tourism and tourism, said that the number of applicants for the "Complete Climbing Round" in Guguan Qixiong in 2022 reached 2,289, of which 23,443 people checked in through GPS. Individual applications, the multi-year cumulative convenience system, and the loosening of epidemic prevention measures are expected to attract more mountain lovers from all over the country to visit Taichung in 2023 to experience the charm of mountain city sightseeing.
