The plane carrying the British search and rescue team landed in Turkey.

According to APA's British bureau, the plane carrying a group of 77 British search and rescue specialists, equipment and 4 search dogs landed in Gaziantep.

The search and rescue team is made up of firefighters and staff from 14 fire and rescue services across the country, including specialists from England, Scotland and Wales.

They will use special search equipment, including seismic listening devices and concrete cutting and breaking equipment.

Great Britain's embassy and consulates in Ankara lowered their flags to half-mast as a sign of respect for those who lost their lives as a result of the earthquake.

Great Britain is sending 77 search and rescue specialists, state-of-the-art equipment and search dogs to Turkey.

APA reports that the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released information about this.

"This is an important support that will help to find the survivors of the earthquake. We are sending the help requested by Turkey as soon as possible," said the MFA.
