Circumstances have been determined in which it will not be allowed to conduct a closed court session using the video conference communication system.

According to APA, this was reflected in the amendment to the Civil Procedure Code approved by President Ilham Aliyev today.

According to the law, it will not be allowed to hold a closed court hearing using the video conference communication system in the following cases:

- Court hearings related to disclosure of state, professional, and commercial secrets, disclosure of personal and family life secrets, anticipating the interest of minors;

- Judicial review or a part of it, if open consideration of cases affects the interests of justice in a democratic society in terms of morals, public order, state security, as well as in other special cases;

- Cases where the person participating in the court review will request to hold the court review closed for the purpose of protecting adoption, inheritance, commercial, invention or tax secrets, as well as other secrets protected by law, as well as intimate issues of personal and family life.
