In Lviv, a tourist gas burner exploded

in a high-rise apartment

As a result of the explosion, the windows in the kitchen were blown out.

The event took place at 20 Bohdan Khmelnytskyi street.

This was reported to the State Emergency Service on February 7.

It turned out that the residents of the apartment were cooking on an electric stove, but suddenly turned off the light.

"The owners, having put a tourist gas burner on the stove, continued to cook food. But after some time, the light was turned on and the electric stove, heating the gas burner, provoked an explosion. Fortunately, none of the people were injured

," - reads the message of the State Emergency Service.

Rescuers once again urge, if you dare to use a tourist burner at home,

follow a few rules

so as not to cause trouble:

  • buy only certified products at licensed sales points;

  • Provide ventilation in the room where the burner is used.

    For example, you can open a window for ventilation;

  • Do not leave the gas burner unattended even for a few minutes

    ;

    The flame may go out due to a draft or leakage of liquid onto the burner;

  • Disconnect the balloon from the tourist tile after cooking.

    Store it in a dark place at room temperature;

  • Do not use the burner for long cooking.

    Only for heating water or a portion of food in a small dish;

  • Do not store the balloon on a cold balcony;

  • In no case do not put the burner on the electric stove.

It will be recalled that an explosion rang out on the ninth floor of a residential building in Kyiv.

According to eyewitnesses, windows in the apartment were blown out.

It turned out that a moonshine machine exploded in the apartment.

The State Emergency Service showed photos from the scene.
