[Reporter Zhang Ruizhen/Taichung Report] In the early hours of yesterday (6th), a lottery shop in Nantun District, Taichung City was robbed with a knife, and the 40-year-old main suspect, surnamed Hong, got 200,000 yuan. After taking a flight around Singapore, today (7 Day) Returned to Taiwan in the early morning and was arrested by the police at Taoyuan Airport. The Taichung police charged him with robbery. The Taichung District Prosecutor’s Office believed that he was in danger of fleeing. He applied to the Taichung District Court for detention. The court ruled to allow him to be detained late at night.
According to the police investigation, Hung first went to the lottery store to buy lottery tickets in the early morning of the 4th of this month, and observed the situation on the spot. He found that there was only one female clerk visiting the store. He left the rental house on the evening of the 5th and took the Taichung MRT to Xinwu. At the high-speed railway station, he changed clothes in the toilet of the high-speed railway station, threw the original clothes in the trash can, and then stole a motorcycle. Yesterday (6th) at 1 o'clock in the morning, Hung suspected that he rode the stolen car to the lottery lottery to commit crimes with a knife. Immediately escaped with the stolen car after succeeding, and then abandoned the stolen car at the intersection of Jianguo Road and Jingcheng South Road in Nantun District.
