The police pointed out that the two women were conscious and uninjured. They initially learned that they walked up the stream together in the afternoon to soak in the hot springs in Shikeng. They went down the mountain before dark. They forgot to bring their belongings and turned back. On the way, their headlights ran out of power and were trapped in the stream bed.
