Bhopal:

From now on daughters will also be able to get compassionate jobs in Madhya Pradesh.

The Shivraj government has approved this decision in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

In the decision taken by the government on September 29, 2014 regarding the provisions related to compassion, the government has also talked about necessary amendments.

It has also been decided in the cabinet meeting that son and daughter have equal rights for compassionate appointment.

Even if the daughter is married.

The special thing is that this decision of the state government has come ten days after Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the Ladli Bahna Yojana to provide monthly assistance of Rs 1000 to poor and middle class married and unmarried women in the state.

At present, there are approximately 2.61 crore women voters, more than 48% of the approximately 5.40 crore voters in the state.

Moreover, in 18 assembly seats (all tribal reserved seats) out of total 230 assembly seats in the state, the number of female voters is currently more than male voters.

Suraj Policy-2023 also got approval

Shivraj cabinet has also approved Suraj Policy 2023 during this meeting.

Under this, the Council of Ministers has made proper use of the land which has been freed from encroachment by the district administration, for housing construction, infrastructure works and infrastructure works in Suraj Colony for the homeless, economically weaker sections (EWS). It was decided to construct community facilities.

In small cities, instead of multi-storey residential leases up to 450 square feet, colonies can also be developed.
