Maksym Nesmianov, a well-known activist and TV presenter in Ukraine, and currently a military man, received a summons while on combat duty since March of last year.

Nesmyanov told about this in a comment for TSN.ua.

"Being in the military unit since March of last year, I received a summons to my Kyiv address," says Maksym Nesmianov in surprise. . I came to the unit, my documents were looked at there, they were registered, and a form was issued. I started serving. In October, I received a call from the military department (recruitment center - Ed.) and invited me to come. I replied that I was in the Donetsk region. To the employee of the military department I sent a picture of my military ID and no more questions were asked. Now, two hours ago, they brought me a summons. But I'm on combat duty. I can't go anywhere! I don't understand why they sent me. There must be some problem with databases. That's how I understand it. That would be nonsense,if I leave the combat unit and go to deal with the papers."

"It's interesting, but the summons is the reason for me to be released from the unit to Kyiv. I have been serving since March 10, 2022, but for some reason they want to call me up again. I hope that I will not be imprisoned," Nesmyanov wrote on his Facebook page.

In turn, our sources in the Ministry of Defense suggested that such situations "sometimes happen".

We will remind you that there are

several valid reasons for which a valid conscript may not come to the TCC.
