Military and political commentator Oleksandr Kovalenko commented on why PMK "Wagner" recruited 50 women from the penal colony in the occupied Donetsk region.

He said this in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

According to Kovalenko, this may indicate the fact that the "Wagnerians" have problems with the recruitment of convicts.

They can no longer collect tens of thousands, but with problems they collect thousands.

"The situation with Russian private military companies is in some sense even funny. In the last few weeks, Prigozhin has been throwing around medals "for the capture of Soledar". But as of now, the "Wagner" PVK does not exist on the territory of Ukraine as a full-fledged combat unit. They have lost almost all of their combat potential and combat capability. They continue to be used as "cannon fodder" under Bakhmut, but otherwise they have no influence on the course of hostilities - only as "cannon fodder," the expert noted.

Earlier it was reported that "Wagner" PVC is recruiting convicts in Russian colonies in the second round.

But those willing are ten times less.

The owner of "Wagner" Evgeny Prigozhin distinguished himself with an absurd statement and said that he is ready to withdraw from Bakhmut if President Volodymyr Zelensky agrees to a "duel in heaven".
