The great Cuban book festival will return this 2023, from February 9 to 19, and the Cuban publishing house Nuevo Milenio confirmed its participation with innovative proposals.

As announced by its director Michel Torres Corona, among the publications that will be presented within the framework of the 31st.

edition of the International Book Fair of Havana, the titles "El Turquino" stand out, a tribute to Antonio Nuñez Jiménez on the occasion of his centenary and "Cuba, nation and society", of the National Social Sciences Award, Francisca Lopez Civeira.

Both will be introduced to the public at publisher events at the Casa del Alba Cultural within the framework of the fair. 

Also noteworthy are the texts “The era of conspiracy”, by Ignacio Ramonet and “Fidel and the workers' parliaments”, by Pedro Ross;

whose official presentations will take place on Tuesday the 14th, in the Aula Magna of the Colegio de San Gerónimo in Havana and on Friday the 17th, at the Fidel Castro Ruz Center, respectively.

Torres Corona also reported that among its novelties is the reissue of the book "De la Sierra Maestra al Escambray", by Joel Iglesias, which will be presented in the José Antonio Portuondo room of the Palacio del Segundo Cabo, on Friday, February 17.

These, as well as the other copies of the editorial

will be available in Pavilion C of the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress

, one of the main venues of the event.

“It is an opportunity to market and promote our books, to establish links with authors and other publishers, and for editorial management in a general sense,” added the director of Nuevo Milenio.
