Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk stated this during one of the television interviews, the Ministry of Reintegration writes.

She reminded that Ukraine currently has 4.8 million internally displaced persons.

Their real number is about 7 million.

According to the official, the state is trying in every possible way to support the displaced people.

Last year, 55 billion hryvnias of housing allowance were paid from the budget.

They receive humanitarian aid, food kits, clothes, basic necessities.

The government project eRobota is also successfully implemented - the possibility of receiving grants under 6 programs.

"But the help should not be limited to this.

It should be versatile.

This is the socialization of IDPs in their new place of residence, and promotion of their employment, and receiving all the benefits that apply to the rest of the residents.

They should not wait with an outstretched hand, but become full members of communities.

At the same time, feel your own independence, be confident in the near future of yourself, your children and parents.

Therefore, our task in 2023 is to find as many tools as possible for this.

Including with the help of our international partners," Iryna Vereshchuk summarized.

We will remind you that earlier we told
