Today, the trial of three young men (all a little over 20 years old) began in the Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv, who are accused of beating to death 47-year-old

Oleksandr Dembitskyi

from Kyiv , including over a cigarette.

According to the Kyiv police, a sudden conflict arose between a group of boys and 47-year-old Oleksandr, who was vacationing near the lake with his family in the summer.

As a result, in front of his 4-year-old son, Dembitsky received numerous blows to the head and torso, as a result of which he died on the spot.

The details of the terrible story were told in a comment for

TSN.ua

by the wife of the deceased - Yulia Dembitska.

"That day, we were relaxing by the lake, celebrating the birthday of my husband's employee, - recalls

Yuliya Dembitska

with tears in her eyes . - We were about to leave, but a guy from a neighboring company came up. He sat, drank and left. After that, he returned with his friend , began to demand to give cognac and a cigarette. My husband answered this, saying, go earn money, don't go and ask. After that, a verbal dispute began, the man said he would call the police, a fight began. The man was punched, kicked, beaten several boys, everything ended tragically. The man was beaten all over his body, he died of a cerebral hemorrhage."

According to Yulia, all this happened in front of her and Oleksandr's son, who was 4 years old at that time.

"The child shouted that they should not touch the parents.

It is difficult for the son, he remembers that day, he remembers, he says that his father is an angel

. The son says that he asked not to go there, to which I replied that we could not to know in advance what will happen. More than anything, I want justice, because this situation took away my father with a capital letter, a person who helped with products for the defense of Kyiv. Oleksandr has three children left," says Yulia.

In addition, she added that the mother of one of the accused spoke with her.

"She asked me for forgiveness," Yulia Dembitska summed up.

As it turned out, during the meeting, Yuliya Dembitska

appealed to the court to change the preventive measure for this woman's son.

The judge asked several times whether she, the judge, correctly understood that the deceased's wife was not against one of the accused being released under house arrest.

Dembitska clarified that this is exactly the case.

In their turn, the defendants' defense attorneys have stated that, in their opinion, there are no risks due to the fact that they, the defendants, will be under, for example, 24-hour house arrest.

The representative of the state prosecution spoke against this.

The prosecutor argued that the defendants can, for example, influence witnesses who have not yet been questioned.

The court decided to keep the accused in custody.

If the accused are found guilty, they face up to 10 years in prison.
