Blackout in Ukraine

Ukrenergo said that frosty weather increases the level of electricity consumption in the country, which provokes an increase in the deficit in the energy system.

As of February 5,

the amount of generated electricity is still insufficient to cover

the full consumption.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Energy, on February 9, Thursday,

Khmelnytskyi will have light throughout the day.

Energy workers also managed to partially

restore electricity in Odessa

after a large-scale accident at a substation.
