New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address the participants of 'Jaipur Mahakhel' through video conference today.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said that Lok Sabha MP from Jaipur Rural and former Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has been organizing this program continuously in the Rajasthan capital since 2017.

The 'Jaipur Mahakhel', which this year focuses on Kabaddi competition, started on National Youth Day on January 12.

It has seen the participation of more than 6,400 youth and sportspersons from more than 450 gram panchayats, municipalities and wards of all the eight assembly constituencies under Jaipur Rural.

The PMO said, “Mahakhel gives an opportunity to the youth of Jaipur to showcase their sporting talent.

It also motivates them to take up sports as a career option.”
