The lawyer spoke about the difference between the new and the previous sample suspensions during the mobilization in Ukraine.

This was discussed in a comment by lawyer Alina Bali to "Suspilno".

According to the expert, the issue of subpoenas in Ukraine is regulated by the annex to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution.

It has separate provisions regarding the new data required to arrive at the call.

Alina Balya said that the list of documents required for arriving on call has been expanded.

Summons of the new model: what has changed

According to the lawyer, the summonses of the new format specify that you must have a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with you.

In the previous sample, it was not specified which country's passport should be available.

Currently, it is necessary to have with you a certificate on the assignment of the registration number of the taxpayer's registration card.

In the previous version of the summons, citizens must come to the district (city) territorial center of recruitment and social support.

And now the list of organs where it can appear has been expanded.

In particular, to the bodies of the SBU, units of the Foreign Intelligence Service.

What is the penalty for failure to appear on call

"The new form of summons provides for the possibility of prosecution for failure to appear at a summons without valid reasons. The old-style summons warned about the obligation of prosecution provided for by law," the lawyer added.

Balya also reminded that, according to the law, ignoring the summons may result in administrative or criminal liability.

"It depends on the number of times a person avoided coming to a call," said Alina Balya.

The most severe punishment is imprisonment for a term of three to five years.

We will remind that the petitioner from Cherkasy region faces five years in prison for failing to appear on summons.

It should also be noted that after returning home, men of draft age who were abroad may be held administratively liable.
