[Reporter Liu Binquan/Nantou Report] There has been little rainfall in Yushan National Park in recent months. The long drought has caused some mountain house storage tanks in the park to dry up. In addition, the Yunlong Waterfall section of the Batongguan Ancient Trail, a popular hiking route, has also been loosened due to drought. There are more rockfalls and landslides. The Yushan National Park Management Office reminds you to plan for water use when you go to the mountain house. Although there are many landslides in the Yunlong section of Batong Pass, it will not be rectified in the short term. Tourists should do what they can and pass carefully. .

The Yuguan Office said that at present, the water storage towers of the Oita Mountain House in the Eastern Park, the Kuhanosin Mountain House in Nanheng Sanshan, and the Mabu Valley Mountain House in Mabo Hengduan have almost bottomed out or have no water at all. You can go to Oita at the Oita Suspension Bridge To get water from the stream, Kuhanosin Mountain House can get water from the mountain trail, and Mabu Valley can go into the forest to get water.

The Yushan Main and Qunfeng Mountain Houses have about 20% of the water stored in the water storage tower. It is recommended that mountain friends who go there can bring water to the Paiyun Villa. The water source above the Paiyun Villa is currently dry, and it is necessary to pump water from the stream from time to time. Call on mountain friends to save water.

As for the new collapse in the Yunlong section of the Batongguan ancient road, it was caused by the loosening of soil and rocks after a long period of rain. This path is originally a rock formation fracture zone. In addition to the old falling rocks of 3 to 3.3K, 1.4K, 1.7K, and 2.7K have been added recently. The newly added gravel, rock debris, and earthwork collapsed. At present, personnel are sent to strengthen the inspection and sorting out. Hoes and shovels are also placed at both ends of the collapsed section. Tourists can clear them first if they encounter a collapsed section. If the collapse is serious and difficult to pass, it is necessary to retreat and report, and do not take risks.

Due to the drought, there were many new collapses in the Yunlong Waterfall section of Yushan Batongguan. The Yuguan Department placed shovels and other tools at the collapsed places for easy cleaning. The picture shows 1.4K.
