On Saturday, February 4, a tourist lost his orientation while climbing Mount Pip Ivan, and turned to rescuers.

This is reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Due to difficult weather conditions, colleagues from Verkhovyna also helped local rescuers in their search.

In a few hours, the tourist was found approximately 1 kilometer from the peak of Mount Pip Ivan.

He was taken to the ward at the top of the mountain and given assistance.

"Rescuers once again appeal to lovers of mountain trips to refrain from going to the highlands during the period of worsening weather conditions," the message reads.

Earlier we reported that a 25-year-old evasive person got lost in the forest in the mountains in Transcarpathia.

He tried to cross the border with Slovakia through the mountains, but lost his orientation, got lost and called the police himself.
