In Odesa, in connection with the critical situation with electricity supply in educational institutions, holidays have been announced on February 6 and 7.

This was reported in the press service of the city council.

"Due to the critical situation with the city's electricity supply, vacations have been announced in educational institutions on Monday and Tuesday, February 6 and 7. Regular groups will work in all kindergartens," the message says.

Problems with electricity in Odessa: what is known

We will remind that two large-scale accidents occurred at the substation in Odesa last day.

Primorsky, Malinovsky and Suvorovsky districts of Odesa, as well as nearby villages, remained without power.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal instructed to bring to Odesa all the powerful generators that the government has.

urgently came to the city  .

As of this morning, approximately 280,000 people (up to 40% of consumers) in Odesa remained without electricity.

There are emergency power outages in the city.  

The head of "Ukrenergo" announced that the situation with electricity supply in Odesa will improve no earlier than Friday, February 10.
