In Lviv, a minibus driver drove his wife around the city in a state of drug intoxication.

This was

reported

to the Patrol Police of the Lviv Region.

"Patrol officers noticed an intercity minibus on Demnyanska Street, which deviated from the route. The police stopped the vehicle. Only the driver's wife was in the passenger compartment. The man said that he was going to the Primisky railway station after the lunch break," the message reads.

While checking the documents of the 39-year-old driver, the patrol officers found signs of drug intoxication.

He was offered to undergo a check-up at a medical facility.

He agreed.

The test was positive.

The driver was issued a report under Part 1 of Art.

130 (driving a vehicle while intoxicated) of the Criminal Procedure Code.

On Saturday, February 4,

a fatal accident occurred in

Odesa region  with a pedestrian crossing the road at an unspecified place.

The incident happened near the village of Saf'yani at approximately 18:00.
