According to him, the minister is hearing about such an offer for the first time, but if he were to receive it, he would resign from the post of head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

"I repeat once again that the decision to resign the Minister of Defense or the Minister of Foreign Affairs can only be made by the President, in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine.

Appointment to a new position in any Ministry is, of course, discussed with the law.

This is the first time I'm hearing about the Ministry of Strategy and Industry," added Reznikov.

"I want to say as a lawyer that such a procedure of transfer within the government from minister to minister does not exist - this decision of the parliament can only be at the request of the prime minister, if it is not a position of the MOU or MFA.

If I suddenly received such an offer from the President of Ukraine or the Prime Minister, I would refuse it, because I do not have the expertise that would allow me to be the Minister of the Ministry of Strategic Industries.

That's why I think it's a mistake," the official explained
