The defeat of Putin's army in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will create the prerequisites for revolutionary changes in the Russian Federation, which will lead to its disintegration or the emergence of a new state in its place.

Russian opposition politician Garry Kasparov expressed this opinion on Channel 24.

According to him, a potential way out of this "geopolitical catastrophe", as he calls the war unleashed by Putin in Ukraine, could be the transformation of the modern "empire" into a national state.

"A good example is the United States of America, where people of different groups create one nation - the Americans," Kasparov noted.

He also cited Ukraine as an example, where Ukrainians live regardless of their ethnicity and all of them stand for their homeland.

"We need to move away from this bloody imperial legacy.

This will most likely lead to the loss of some territories - Chechnya, Dagestan.

Tatarstan will probably go the other way," the Russian opposition leader added.

Kasparov also noted that the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is already thinking about his non-Russian future.

This, in particular, is indicated by his absence at the loud celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad, where he was supposed to appear.

"I think that he [Kadyrov] is already stroking the flag of Islam, which is hidden somewhere at the bottom of his father's chest," the oppositionist suggested.

We will remind you that Russian President Vladimir Putin is concerned about the lack of support for the war in Ukraine among the elites.
