In addition, in the past, the election of the decision-making committee of Shili adopted the popularly known "excessive consecutive record system" selection system, and a party member could elect up to 18 people.

At the party congress held on December 24 last year, a party representative proposed to amend this electoral system and it was adopted.

On January 30 this year, the 75th meeting of the third decision-making committee revised the decision-making committee election method and passed, changing the selection system to a "restricted continuous record system", with a maximum of 7 people selected.

Former Miaoli County Councilor Song Guoding and Pingtung County Zhan Zhijun were both included, while former Keelung City Councilor Chen Weizhong was not on the list; County Councilor Wu Weida and Hualien County Chen Qingyuan both voted for this election.
