[Reporter Zhou Minhong/Taoyuan Report] Taoyuan Mass Rapid Transit Corporation has received threatening letters one after another. The Taoyuan City Government Police Department mobilized the criminal police brigade to assist in the investigation, and the security police brigade to support the MRT police team to strengthen the security of the entire line.

The police said that the gangsters did not send any more threatening letters, but the Swiss delegation mentioned in the previous threatening letter is expected to visit Taiwan on the 5th. The police will continue to conduct investigations on suspicious persons to ensure the public safety of the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

From January 30th to February 3rd, the passenger mailbox of the Taojie company website received a total of 3 threatening letters. Among them, the threatening letter on February 3rd was signed by the sender "Altman", threatening the arrival of a Swiss delegation. When he was on the platform, he would throw a lit gasoline bottle on the platform of Taipei Station, Taoyuan Airport MRT A1, and randomly stabbed and cut his throat with a dagger to kill people.

The police traced the IP address of the sending network, and determined that the criminals were most likely the work of a Chinese male graduate student surnamed Zhang who had threatened the Taipei MRT several times. No abnormalities were found.

The Taoyuan police did not dare to be careless, and dispatched members of the Pili team of the security brigade to continue to patrol closely at the A1 Taipei Station and other stations of the Taoyuan Airport MRT with live ammunition. Metal detectors are used to conduct safety inspections on toilets and other suspicious places where explosives are likely to be hidden in Taoyuan Airport MRT stations to prevent dangerous incidents.

The police continue to inspect all corners of the Taoyuan Airport MRT A1 Taipei Station for abnormalities.
