The Pentagon used force and shot down a Chinese spy bullet that was caught tracking the northern US territories.

It is noted that the US military shot down a balloon over the Atlantic Ocean.

Previously, the Pentagon worked out steps to ensure the protection of the population.

To carry out this mission, the US needed to provide a significant localized closure of airspace.

A spy ball in the sky over the USA

A Chinese reconnaissance balloon has been spotted in the sky over the United States.

The Pentagon said they were watching it, but decided not to shoot down the aerial object for security reasons.

The object was tracked, in particular, in the state of Montana, where some mine-based nuclear missiles are located.

For the safety of citizens, several flights were canceled on Wednesday, February 2.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken later announced that he was postponing his visit to China after the incident involving a Chinese spy balloon that was spotted in the northwest of the US.
